CISHMUN IV: Southern Opportunities
A two-day weekend Model U.N. conference hosted by Concordia International School Hanoi’s MUN Program. Below is a timeline of deadlines leading up to our November 14-15 conference.
September 15
Pre-Registration (Form I)
MUN Directors, pre-register your school’s delegation by September 15.
September 22
Chair Applications
MUN Directors, a Chair Application form will be emailed to you on September 16. We anticipate a minimum need for 6 Chairs. We will ask you to identify three appropriate candidates who our Secretariat will reach out to for interviewing purposes. Experienced chairs and experienced delegates who are ready to transition to chairing positions are encouraged to apply.
September 24-October 12
Chair Reports
Our Secretariat will provide necessary training and a chair report template for chairing teams to follow. Chair reports for each committee’s two topics must be completed by October 12. CISHMUN’s Secretariat and Directors will assist with editing.
November 14-15
Conference Dates
CISHMUN IV will run on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 - 16:00 on November 14-15 on the Concordia campus. The schedule can be found below.
September 30
Registration (Form II)
MUN Directors, Form 2 will be emailed to you as a Google Survey on September 16. This Form will allow you to allocate your delegates to their preferred committees. CISHMUN Committees will be leveled as beginner, intermediate and experienced. Please fill out the Chair Application form before submitting Form 2 to avoid redundancies; we will choose our chairs within 2 days after September 22.
October 30
Conference Fee Payment
The VND 900,000 conference fee for delegates and chairs can be completed via bank transfer following the instructions given on the “Payment Instructions” link below. Refunds cannot be granted after October 30. Feel free to pay any time before October 30.
